This page explains what we keep when you use the site or write to us, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you send a message or ask about a commission, we keep what you have typed: your name, your email address and the details of your request.
The site also records ordinary technical information, such as the type of browser used and the pages opened, so we can tell what is slow or broken.
Chat messages and booking inquiries are kept while we're corresponding and for a reasonable time after. Records tied to a fishing trip or guide booking are stored longer, as we may need to reference them for scheduling or catch reports.
We do not sell angler data or personal information. It's shared only with services that help us run the guide business—booking platforms, payment processors—and only the information they need.
Access is limited to staff who need it to manage bookings and trips. All information sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or request it be removed. Write to us and we will confirm once it is done.
This site uses a small number of cookies to track bookings and improve your experience. Which ones, and how to turn them off, is explained separately.
Any changes here will be posted with a new date at the top of the page.
